Sounds like a TCM problem. I had the same issues with my 91 lx. I replaced it...problem solved.

I have a 91 accord lx with a 94 JDM F22b swap. I have a O2 sensor check engine code with the old 91 O2 sensor in place. I figured I needed a sensor for the 94 so I ordered it. It got here today...

ok the rear window brake light is not working but the regular tail lights are. is the malfunctioning window light the problem for the shift lock? now if it is, i need to check the shift lock...

yeah i checked the fluid and its full. good suggestion with the speed sensor. sounds like that could be the problem because it downshifts sooner than usual too. I'll check that out.

they are completely off! I still dont have enough movement to get the belts on. I'm supposed to then put the belts on the crank pulley last and slowly turn that to get the belts on right?

yeah but either the alternator or the p/s pump do not move enough for me to get the belts off.

Anyway, I have the belts off now but I can't get them back on! Are there any tricks? There isnt...

I'm trying to replace the alternator and power steering pulleys. i'm having trouble loosening the tension in the belts enought to get them off. I've loosened the pivot bolts and adjustment bolts...

yeah I have those 3 bolts removed also but that motor mount is still in the way. Its so close to coming off but forcing it is gonna damage the threads on the head and scratch up the outside of the...

I have a 91 accord lx with a dc header. The front motor mount is just barely in the way of removing the header. I dont remember having to remove it to put it on. Is there any tricks to getting it...

Well it looks like its the motor. I have the glove box off and can see that the fan doesnt run at all.

I've followed all the steps in the manual to remove the blower assembly so I can remove...
