Manual transmission? If my research is right, you have the K24. This sounds like the exact same problem several of us are having with that engine in the CR-V.

Ours develoved a brake problem that traced back to the VSA modulator inducing air into the system. I consider working 06-6MT-V6 brakes exceptionally firm and grabby.
