One, two, skip a few, ninety-nine, it runs.

I realize I haven't posted much in a long, long time but I've been at it. That's a '96 spec ITR motor in there. ...

Re: SoHonda Garage's Circuit DC5 Build

This thing is so immaculate and beautiful it'll almost be a shame to race it. Almost. Did I already say that?

Re: SoHonda Garage's Circuit DC5 Build

If those were the only things you had to address after first start, that's hardly worth mentioning! Great to hear it's going, can't wait to see it rollin' around.

Re: '96 Midori hatch by willimo

Tiny, minuscule, insignificant update, but merry Christmas to me.

After a lot of handwringing and gnashing of teeth, I decided to go ahead and get the OEM Honda SiR lip. Well, I decided to get it...

Re: JDMAccordwagon's '93 Accord wagon build!

I love the TL wheels on that car. The car has a kinda Euro feel to it from the factory and those wheels are perfect for that. Cool car, neat swap, glad you're autocrossing it. Way cool.

Re: Round 3: Aztec Green Pearl EJ2 Coupe -94! OEM Goodies

I love this build! You're paying a lot of good, careful attention to lots of cool modifications and repairs, things that people typically neglect. Awesome work!

Re: SoHonda Garage's Circuit DC5 Build

This is a flagship any shop or factory would be proud of. This car is AMAZING. I particularly like how you've been pretty darn liberal with the carbon but managed to not be garish and over the top,...

Re: OG's VX Build: HyperMile Driving with some JDM Styling!

How does it monitor fuel economy? What sensors is it collecting signals from? Fuel ratio, MAP, the fuel sending unit? I'm really curious.

Re: OG's VX Build: HyperMile Driving with some JDM Styling!

The high voltage batteries in hybrids have gotten a bit better and last plenty longer than 5-7 years. Also, if you get your car regularly serviced at the dealership, both Honda and Toyota are very...

Re: SHG tries wRong Wheel Drive...SHG_Mike's S2000 Build

Not to hijack your thread - and let me know if you want to kick this out - but I did a very similar treatment to the horn button on my car. I couldn't bear to cut any holes in the middle of that...

Re: prakhash's 'BlueDC2' Build

I love of people just tape up their front end and behind the wheels - where mudguards might be. I'll probably do that, but eventually I want a second front bumper to eat all those cones with. To...

Re: prakhash's 'BlueDC2' Build

I infrequently weigh in on advice, because I am lothe to be "that guy on the internet" that you regret listening to.

There is a lot of mental calculus to answer this question. For me, the moment...

Re: SHG has another - JDM DC2R- Project/Restoration/Build

Geez, that's a pretty nasty smash. I don't have any doubt it's in capable hands though, anyone with the SHG seal of approval does things right.

How hard is it going to be to source R-specific...

Re: Honda Logo GA3 D16W4 VTEC

Very cool! It's nice that it's different and I understand the challenge so I appreciate that you're going at it with careful ingenuity. I don't know what KM is, but if it translates to horsepower,...

Re: '96 Midori hatch by willimo

Thanks! I really like it simple how it is, but the fun thing is that changes are always just a whim away.

It's been a while but I did do a little work recently. I never said this would be fast....

Re: *SHG_Riley's Midori Build*

Yeah, I'm just a cheapskate and the price of the genuine Honda parts causes me a lot of teeth gnashing and handwringing, but I think it's kinda gonna have to be the way to go....

Re: *SHG_Riley's Midori Build*

Man, can never go wrong with TE37s. The color you chose for them is perfect. Beautiful.

Your build is all good stuff so I think I know the answer to this - is your lip a legit Honda part? Or...
