450cc DSMs will be fine. If you have aspirations for higher boost, get 550cc (saturated) or larger (if you plan on high boost some day). No reason to install a resistor box if you plan to eventually...

I disagree. Higher temps can also mean severely-retarded ignition timing, so the intake charge is still burning on the way out the exhaust. EGT has a use, but it has to be used in conjunction with:

Narrowband gauges do have some utility, but they are not foolproof.

You can lean misfire and show up rich on a narrowband gauge. High EGT can also fool a narrowband O2. You cannot tune anything...

preignition can cause detonation... detonation is just when the charge basically explodes before the flame front can burn it smoothly and cyl pressure peaks really high. if you are sparking the...

I think I am just wondering of people have had similar occurences w/ Mobil 1 full synthetic... it seems like the stuff gets thinner than it should at high temperature.... I'm not even tracking this...
