Which ever route you choose to go just don't use a murshroom or a generic filter, spend the extra 20 buck and get the k&n. I personally use screens and a 3 inch v stack on my dd for a while now

From personal experience i had a brand new sc61 fail on me after 15-20 dyno pulls and less than 200 miles and i was using a blox sandwich plate. And no, my oil feed and return lines wasn't the cause...

I've been in the autobody industry for 10 plus yrs and I ain't never seen, done it myself, or heard of anybody laying 2 gallons of clear on a car ever before. 3-4 wet layers of good clear is plenty...

I do all the time. And if you want to go with a even cheaper route go with Transtar clear, one of the best bang for the buck clear imo.

damn i miss sac raceway...i used to live 10 min away from there and be out there almost every wed night 6 yrs ago. now that i live in so cal and the nearest track is 2 hours away
