But you can find a...

Re: ~200+whp LSVtec Build From Start to Finish

Ok so I am facing a little dilemma, and hopefully someone can give me some kind of insight.

I had the machine shop assemble the crank, rods, and pistons. As I mentioned before, I wanted to double...

Re: ~200+whp LSVtec Build From Start to Finish

Re: ~200+whp LSVtec Build From Start to Finish

Yah I feel like you're right.

Well, this pic is from around a year ago and I've still purchased so many more parts since then. Uploading more tomorrow of the block and head.

Re: Headed In the Right Direction? 99 EM1 SI

It took me a little longer than a year of reading and researching to decide what I wanted to do with my ls vtec… then it still took me 2 years to decide what parts I wanted because there was so much...

Usually those online honda parts stores have a pretty good discount, sometimes even better than employee discount, but yes oem is typically more expensive but well worth it.

You can get those at your local Honda Dealership, although they will probably have to order. Or take that part number to the parts stores and see if they can match it up.

Re: ~200+whp LSVtec Build From Start to Finish

Will do for sure... And the machine shop is pretty reputable, I had them assemble the block. But for peace of mind, I may just check for myself. I did double check all of the torque specs for main...

If the oil pan is on, then it would not sit horizontal. Either on an engine stand or just laying flat. I have never seen or heard of anyone laying a block on any of its sides.
