Re: (big-cat)

This motor was built last spring, and only gets driven to the track and dyno and back home (some occasional sunday cruises). roughly 10-12K miles now, and still running strong!

Build is in the sig.

Re: Idle for 1000cc injectors on crome? (a1320honda)

I'm not even sure if Crome's ECT and IATs work, because i could never get them to work like its supposed to, but i'd imagine those corrections need to be dialed in.

Re: stock b16 with VP-110 ~ 300whp how much timing (adubaz7)

I used to run about 19* on my stock block SOHC @ 10psi, and pump fuel. Let me remind you thats 75mm bore, and much less capable of reving than your b16.

Re: (a1320honda)

recent pics look good, and probably still has a little buffer room for more, depending where in the rpm range you shut down. Color change should take place right at the bend of the ground strap.

Re: (servion)

servion brought up a good point, those h20/meth lines might need some sort of check valve on them. Maybe just a single checkvalve before the distribution block might suffice. A valve would probably...

Re: (bch5428)

Max torque is produced at 12.5-13 a/f ratios, anything richer is mostly used for thermal mangement. Once h20 is introduced, you can safely run leaner fuel mixtures because h20 has a higher latency of...

Re: (bch5428)

i used to run the Devil's Own Progressive kit on my vitara build. I had it tuned to 320whp at 17-19psi, 5gph nozzle, 50/50 mix.

I did a ton of reading and concluded that a 50/50 mix was best for...

Re: (a1320honda)

best thing would be to put it on a dyno, but reason being is that the flame front has a greater distance to travel with a larger bore, thus needing more advance.

Re: (a1320honda)

Are you still running the same map on the b20 setup? If not, the larger bore will probably be happier with more igntion.

Re: (blackeg)

where do you have the m300 grounded to?

I'd recommend splicing into the +/- at the ECU if it isn't already.

Re: Wideband shows rich but plugs show lean....EGT? Need help asap (a1320honda)

it depends where on the spark plug insulator its showing "white." If its just the tip of the insulator thats white, then you should be fine, as WOT pulls will show up on the bottom of the plug...

Re: 13.5@110 mph WTF? (NJIN BUILDR)

I had been fighting something similar, it turned out to be a boost controler and wastegate spring issue. You might want to check that out.

Re: Misfiring bad in the upper RPM range, gap the plugs less or go 1 step colder? (GetawayInMoscow)

You can double check the ground strap to see where the color change is happening, but i'm pretty sure 7s should be good for your hp. I would try gapping it down. i gap mine to .019.
