I believe you can access the fuel pump by taking out the rear seatbacks. To do this, fold the seats down and pull up on the bottom left (driver's side) corners of the trim on the back of the seats:

Do you do any of your own work? This can make a huge difference in the cost of repairs. Does the car have fresh suspension, motor mounts, ball joints, etc? These sort of things definitely wear out...

Oil light could be due to a faulty oil pressure switch, which is near the oil filter under the intake manifold I believe. I would make sure it's faulty before changing. You should retrieve the code...

The factory service manual also says to check the resistance between A and the coil output to the distributor. It should be 14-22 kOhms (14,000-22,000).

Yeah, the front LCA has an eccentric inner bolt for adjusting toe. Make sure the mounting hole in the subframe hasn't stretched as well.

Yeah, the o-ring is on the distributor shaft where it enters the head. There's another seal inside the distributor too. If oil is getting inside it, that's your problem. There is a writeup in the FAQ...
