Re: 2017 Honda Accord Touring Display Change Question

Try pushing the reset button in the gauge cluster. I can't see your pictures, but that's how I change the display in the cluster from A to B.

Re: 2015 Accord LX Manual/Automatic swap from CVT

If you can't sell the CVT, and buy a manual with the proceeds, you're probably stuck with it. Swapping engines, and transmissions is nothing like the old days (90's). Everything connected to the...

Re: 2013 Accord - Intermittent Starting Problem

For the 4 cylinder, I would test the starter. For the V6 there is a TSB where you have to rotate the ring gear on the torque converter, and install a new starter.

Re: Honda Accord 2013 Bipping sound

Are you sure the light switch is turned to either auto or off. If the switch is turned to on, it will beep. Is the red light blinking, or on steady (ambient light).

Re: Car Scratches Repair

How much it will cost may depend on how perfect you want the repair to look. Personally, I would try compound, polish, touch-up paint, then sealant. It would not be "perfect" but barely noticeable....

Re: 2007 Accord V6 Performance parts?

Hoping it up will only increase the chances you will be changing engine mounts, driveshafts, and maybe even a transmission in the future. But good luck.

Re: 2003 2 door Honda Accord front bumper

They are definitely not the same part #. The 03-05 coupe bumper has holes where fog lights can be installed. The 03-05 sedan bumper has to be cut out to install fog lights. That's not to say they...

Re: just got 03' accord coupe, not sure if EX or LX model?

If it doesn't have a moonroof, it's not an EX. Likely an LX V6, yes there is such a thing. If you join the Honda owners website, and enter your VIN, it should give you all the details.

Re: Timing belt change.

IMO you need something larger than a 1/2" impact to get that crank pulley bolt off. I wasted a couple hours trying with a brand new ingersol rand 550ftlb gun, and it didn't budge. Luckily, I could...

Re: 2008 Honda Accord V6 - Piston Rings Issue

You might be able to get a reduced price for the timing belt/water pump job, but I doubt they will "Good will" something involving maintenance.

Re: Engine whine [VIDEO]

The power steering pump is not electrical. If you don't want to remove the belt, simply change the inlet joint o-ring. The o-ring doesn't cost much, and it's the most common cause for the noise.

Re: Timing belt change.

I have an 03 EX V6 Sedan Automatic. I bought my "Helm" manual from an online Honda dealership soon after buying the car. It was $114.00 total. You can get them much cheaper now I'm sure. You need the...

Re: Timing belt change.

The crank pulley bolt can be VERY difficult to remove. The best way, IMO, is to use a BIG impact gun. You still need the pulley holding tool to torque the pulley bolt back on. I did the timing belt...

Re: 2009 Honda Accord EX Coupe Transmission and Oil Issues

Trading it in sounds like a good idea at this point, BUT! if you neglect the next car, as you have this one, it will end up with the same problems. When the oil level gets low enough to make the oil...

Re: what do you HATE about your 03-07 Accord?

Nothing I "hate", but the DBW throttle is a little too sensitive/jumpy at low speeds.

Re: 2006 Honda Accord 120000 miles service

That $825 could have been reduced to $200 with some DIY. If you don't want to play, you have to pay. On the internet, you can usually watch other people do the same job in videos, over and over, and...

Re: 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 intermittent flashing d4, no cel

Your transmission is likely toast, but if the D4 light was flashing, there should be a transmission code stored.

Re: 08 I4 Crank Pulley Bolt

Lefty-loosey, righty-tighty. If they are anything like the V6 crank bolts they are very tight. I used a gigantic impact to remove mine, after repeated attempts with a 500ftlb ingersol rand 1/2" drive...

Re: 2006 Accord EX-L 4cyl Seatbelt warning chime will not turn off.

They should have changed the driver's side buckle for you, under the lifetime seatbelt warranty. (at least it's lifetime for some models)

Re: 2005 Accord - Lock Actuator Replacement Caution

Re: ELECTRICAL NIGHTMARE PLEASE READ

I second the combination switch, or ground wire problems. Bump the steering column near the combination switch, and jiggle the ground wires with the lights on, to see if the lights blink.

Re: 07 Accord V6 Timing Belt

Get two gallons of coolant. The coolant is only $15 from Bernardi Honda online, but the shipping costs might negate the savings if Amazon has free shipping.

Re: Tranny fluid change interval.

I think if you get it to a more Red color, it will be easier to keep it that way. When you drain and refill with 3 quarts you are draining less than half of the total fluid, so there will still be...
