JDM B18C, what motor is this?

I'm doing some over the phone research for a buddy doing a swap. The motor is JDM out of a right hand drive, the block code is B18C, no # at the end and the valve cover is black. Wikipedia lists the...

Re: Problems with custom exhuast

I got a hold of a physics major buddy of mine and discussed the vibration issue. We concluded that the turbo will likely take care of it.

If the turbo doesn't take care of the loud issue though,...

Re: Problems with custom exhuast

Thank you for the feedback, I removed the comment about glasspack use being insane on the part the owner.

So the difference between a glasspack and resonator is simply the use of packing material...

To all of you NYC car guys out there, what's the car culture like?

After a week of visiting, my girlfriend is pretty set on the idea of moving to NYC. I loved the city, but I'm worried about my hobby and career path. Does NYC have a decently vibrant car culture...

Forgot to mark the impeller, how do I reassemble?

*sigh* How was I to know you should read the instructions before taking something apart. Just doesn't sound manly...

We ripper a T25 apart and didn't bother marking the impeller position. I've...

Questions about Honda Peak/Hold injectors.

I'm trying to get an Innovate Augbox to measure duty cycle and it's a little complicated for peak/hold injectors. You can wire up a circuit to turn the voltage into something the Augbox can read, but...

Re: Integra suspension on CRX (tigerr227)

In theory it might bolt up, but you'll run into some issues.

Integras tend to have stiffer spring that when used in your CRX will raise the ride height (fun if you're looking to offroad).

Re: hooking up a heated O2 sensor in a non-OBD car. (ion_four)

Wow, I just revived a 5 1/2 year old thread.

I've been reading a whole mess of info on EFI setups and this issue interested me. I'd like to put together a lite turbo setup that works like stock...

Re: A good clutch to use with a ZC motor? (Efkrew91hatch)

I apreciate the offer Efkrew91hatch, but I don't think that would fit my transmission. I need a 200mm 21 spline set.

I'd say I drive the car pretty hard. I work at a shop, so there are frequent...

Re: A good clutch to use with a ZC motor? (Lamchop0000)

Thank you for the reply Lamchop0000, but I know which application of clutch I need, my concern was needed quality.

Anyone else run OEM replacement clutches on a ZC, including redline shifting?
