Re: (paranoiattack91)

You could also take them to have them turned. I think it's around $10/rotor to have them turned.

If you decide to do that take a fine piece of sandpaper and just go in a swirling motion around the...

Re: (siregcivic)

You don't need a cam gear if you're boosting a SOHC.

If you want more power then get a ZEX 59100 or 59300 (if you're willing to pay for the valvetrain). That will give you more of a gain than any...

Re: Where do i get the tool that does this? (philosofy1)

Go to your local autozone and see if they sell scanners. I think the cheap universal ones are around 100.

If it's OBD-1 you can stick a paperclip in the jumper, turn the key to the on position and...

Re: Fuel Spilling All Over... HELP (VTteg)

What do you mean everywhere?

I had a leak from my #3 injector and where my fuel return meets my fuel rail. Both turned out to be O-rings.

I don't know how much you guys are looking to put into this car, but to pull off more weight you could replace the glass with lexan.

Re: project death coupe (bigblokcivic)

Nice times. At first I was thinking "Only low 12s in a 1600lbs car w/ B20VTEC?"

Then I realized there was no turbo. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsmilep.gif

Good times....

New motor build. What needs to be done to get it ready?

I have a spare Z6 block that I'm putting forged pistons/rods into.

I recently ran into a problem with my current motor (z6, starting overheating BAD and I don't know why.)

What needs to be done...

Re: Clutch went out (majinx4)

If it's leaking fluid it's most likely the slave cylinder, or the valve in the master cylinder is going out.

Replacing the slave cylinder should fix the problem.

Re: Fully Built D16z6--What Turbo for 420whp???? (oscarmayer)

I'd also be a little happier making a little less power and having a faster spooling turbo. I'd rather pickup 20whp throughout most of my power band rather than have an extra 50 for a few hundred...

Re: Fully Built D16z6--What Turbo for 420whp???? (rex_racer728)

Not without a lot of lag. 400whp out of a D16 is asking a lot without a good amount of lag. I was told even a GT35 on a fully built D16 w/ major P&P head would have a good bit of lag to it.
