Is the engine running normal when this happens? there is a ground wire on the back of the cluster that can loosen up and cause the same issue.

Main relay is bad. When it dies try smacking the dash around the fuse panel area and see if it fires back up.

I had this problem when I converted my hatch to obd-1. soon as I went wot it would lose all power and bog down. Try switching the 2 outside wires at the tps sensor and report back. That's what fixed...

Yeah I was hoping someone on here would have the part #'s. I have a bearing dealer that I work with through my job.

I have a j1 cable trans. I want to replace all the bearings inside the unit. Does any one have a list of all the bearing parts numbers inside the trans?

I have a rs*r ex-mag on my crx with a jdm b18cr and it sounds amazing. like stated above I have more sound from my intake than the exhaust, until I crossover into vtec:))))

Change the white plug on the back of the ignition. Its held in by 2 Phillips head screws if I recall correctly. also has a harness that runs to the fuse box.

Try switching the 2 outside wires on the tps plug. When I converted my first hatchback to obd-1 back in 2008 I had the same problem. I just switched the 2 wires and problem was fixed.

ARE THE VALVE STEM SEALS ON A B16A2 THE SAME AS ON THE B18C MOTOR? i WOULD ASSUME THEY ARE SEEING HOW THEY BOTH HAVE A PR3 CLY HEAD. I NEED TO ORDER SOME FOR MY B18C BUT THERE IS NO CLOSE ACURA...

Nice thats what im looking for is 300whp. In a 88 hf that ought to be pretty fun. what do you think about using a t3/t4 578 trim. will that be over kill?

Asking for thoughts and suggestions on turbo size, and type on a bone stock 98 jdm b18cr.
I have access to a t3/t4 ar57 will that be okay on a stock block if ran at low psi?

Sounds like the engine mounts have the motor sitting to low in the engine bay, causing the crank pully to hit the radius rod. Get new mounts or a ctr crank pulley

Very nice setup. what kinda of numbers did ya put down? I took the crx to the track last night and ran a 13.155 @ 104.33 mph. 60' foot was 1.941. I had 21.5-8x13 hoosier full slicks on it.
