Re: j32 or j35 into EG

Hey man,
I rocked this swap in 2010 and had a lot of fun with it.
It was indeed a tricky swap compared to the usual B stuff I was used to. But in the end the bastard really hauled ass.
My regret...

Re: * POST Your J Swap Pics Or Any J series Swap *

I am still prepping my setup for its reinstall into an EK. I used to have it in a DC with Gen1 HASports and a fitted hole in the hood.

I had this manifold made by my very talented fab guy Lou....

Re: CIVIC SRT-4 SWAP DYNO

Here's a bone stock setup on 20 lbs.
J32A, stock, with stock trans and stock axles making 700.

There are a lot of Honda engines that will reliably support a lot of boost for a long time. Tune,...

Re: J32A2 - Pie Cut Intake Manifold

Thanks man. I am really happy with the progress so far and his design has surpassed my expectations.

I actually met with him tonight to iron out some of the final details. He wasn't able to get...

Re: build is at a hault. crank prpblem. any ideas

Man oh man. I don't know what to say. I would say that I understand your frustration but you seem to be keeping it together and are looking at this constructively. Perhaps the machine shop that did...

Re: My 94 Hatch Rebuild Thread

Everything is looking great man. Awesome job on the bay. Did you weld in your unused holes? It looked as if there were a lot less once you had the paint on.

This is very inspiring and your...

J32A2 - Pie Cut Intake Manifold

Here are some shots of a manifold being constructed for my J32A2 6MT swap.

The details:

Bolts on to existing lower runners, stud/bolt combo, uses stock metal gasket
1/2" below stock manifold...

Re: my h2b never ending project(spiderman)

When I had an LS-VTEC I had some issues with my crank case pressure and we tracked it to the PCV system hooked up incorrectly. It was basically looping pressure back into the crank case. Nevermind...

Re: K20Z3 swap into kit car: Immobilizer Question

When you say Atom Kit Car, where exactly did you come across such a kit? I know they can be purchased from Sector111 minus the drivetrain, but is this a different kit?

Re: K20Z3 swap into kit car: Immobilizer Question

I know that your ECU is an '06 unit, but perhaps this will still work. Cash up front, yes, but it would eliminate any possible future problems and would probably be equal in cost of a Honda Dealer...

Re: Fastest Honda CRV??

So when you guys say these are basically an EK with more weight... what similarities are found in the engine bay? Same mounting system? There are minimal pictures of engine swaps with CRV's on the...

Re: F2B Ek minor issues.

Does your IACV work? Is it hooked up? Your IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor is not connected in this picture. Make sure all sensors are connected and that terminals/wiring has continuity. Search...

Re: Throttlebotem1 J swap build thread

I hope my comments weren't taken the wrong way.

I have no doubts that you'll be able to get this swap to run. All I was saying was that you won't be able to do it with the CL-S ECU. The GM unit...

Re: Throttlebotem1 J swap build thread

I can understand your logic by saying it's just like any other OBD swap. I agree with that and usually that would be fine. The TBW (throttle by wire) Honda engines differ greatly from there...

Re: Throttlebotem1 J swap build thread

You should do some more research on j32a.com

As I have completed one of these swaps myself, I can tell you that the engine you have will NEVER run with a CL-S ECU. The engine you have is a...

Re: K20 into EG Swap Issues

Do not shave/notch the transmission or the rack. I'm surprised to hear that as a recommendation from Hybrid.

Convert to a manual rack. It may cost you in time, but it will definitely keep it...

It has been done.

For what $$$ who knows. There was a company that made mounts, not sure for what transmission, or if they still make them. Not many Honda guys out there willing to spend the coin...

Re: Pre- J Series....h23a Intermission..

Now that's brand loyalty.

I like your suspension goals. My DC plows into the corners with the 3.2 up front though I just have a simple lowering spring setup. I'm sure it would handle a lot better...
