Custom cam cover B series

Has anyone done this before? I bought a motor that had the cam gear cover cut and I would like to cover it without buying a whole new valve cover, and I think it will come in handy when it comes time...

Did they cut open your plenum to enlarge the inside? Also, can you post more pics of the butterfly section?

Would adding custom spacers like these to your custom GSR IM be beneficial? I would assume it would increase air volume inside, giving you more HP/TQ.

Part number update thread?

From going through the process in building motors I notice some parts are replaced and have a new part #. Such as the new B series LMA have been replaced by a new type and with the part number...

one of the reps said as long as there is no cracks and chips its fine and those markings are normal.

Yeah man, I wasn't concerned after I spoke to 2 reps through email and 1 on the phone. I am confident they are the real deal, its just I didn't know how to respond to the person who responded before...
