Re: HELP>>> ACURA OVERHEATING!!! (Super Chicken)

The headgasket probably failed because of repeat overheatings. If this ever happens to you again the best idea is just to tow the car home then fix it rather than getting air into your cooling system...

Re: throttle position sensor WTF????!?! (nutball72)

you cant replace just the sensor. you have to replace the throttle body. Before you shotgun a part, check to make sure you have reference voltage (i believe 5 volts) and a good ground connection.

Re: Air-conditioning problem (fongph)

it sounds like your evaporator may be freezing up, then 10 minutes later after it heats up it begins working again. You could have a stuck open thermal expansion valve.

Re: Legend overheating and loosing coolant? (CmptchAV6)

Re: When to change a timing belt? (CmptchAV6)

is it a 3.0, 2.2 or a 2.3? for the 3.0's im pretty sure its 105k, thats when you do the major service and adjust the valves at the same time as doing the t-belt. if its a 2.2 or a 2.3 then its 6...

Re: 2001 TL Tires (skiptomylou)

yokohama avid V4S tires are rated very well on tire rack, and I install quite a few of them on TL's at our dealership. Michelins are over priced pieces of shit.

Re: Looking at an Acura 2.3CL this weekend... (MattZ28)

not much if anything goes bad on these cars. Sometimes the balancer shaft(it has 2) seal will walk its way out of its bore and leak oil everywhere. So if the timing belt has been changed then...

Re: '94 Vigor electrical problems w/intermittent crank sensor code. Long story. (bgx9ner)

hmm that seems like excessive resistance on the ground side. i wonder if there is any way to do a voltage drop test on that side of the circuit? it may have a shitty ground in the ecu.
