OEM vs Ebay style fog lights

93' EG Si hatch

Okay so I purchased Ebay fogs for my hatch... Before doing installing I noticed my hatch already had an OEM fog light switch installed but obviously no fogs.

I took the switch...

Just a thought... Unplug the ECU and take it with you. It's a hassle, but it's free. That is unless they tow it like someone else said, but hey again it's free.

The KMs don't bother me, but what is different about the fuel gauge? The reason the tach drove me crazy is vtec crossover is way off and my redline is very inaccurate. I have trouble shifting where I...

YUP the tach is off and it drives me crazy.. I know it's common with these cars but heard the JDM ones didn't have the same issues (I hope that's true)

93' Civic Si hatch and I all I know is the jdm cluster is "from an eg6" it has the white gauges and is from a manual.

I have been having trouble with my gauges being inaccurate and wanted to either buy a new cluster or a JDM one (obviously toooo pricey for me tho) but there is one for sale locally for a decent...

Yes the car is swapped... If I run an aftermarket tach would I have the same issue with being off because it is wired in to the original tach??

I have an issue where my tachometer is off the higher the rpms go... 93' Civic SI original cluster.

At idle, the dyno and the tach read consistent... All other gauges seem to be working properly...

Hard to find an accurate answer via google... Did the 93' civic SI have the fog light switch installed factory (next to defroster) or no? I have one and it has the switch which looks oem but no fog...

Okay what about the reversal of that question and going up one size to a 195/55 tire? Would it essentially create less wheel gap? Wouldn't the car sit higher? Sorry if these questions seem noobish,...

I have 195/50R15 on my EG hatch with springs... I have a little wheel gap that I'd like to eliminate. Would replacing my tires with 195/45 change the wheel gap? What are your opinions? I need tires...

I currently have 13" steelies because I have been rebuilding the motor etc... The wheels to be purchased are the "fat five" GSR wheels.

Could oil cause smoke under acceleration? It didn't smoke before the head was rebuilt, but not smokes under heavy acceleration. I used Mobile 1 full syn... Could that cause smoke?

What type of oil are you using?

Full synthetic? Synthetic blend? What weight? My type R motor has a recently rebuilt top, but don't know what type of oil was used before. Any advice?
