wrong information chap? i dont think so. you said your speedo was "jumpy" meaning it hadnt taken a crap yet. if the vss has the speedo, odo, tach, and vtec solenoid all under its control and it goes...

first off is it grounded to a solid spot. if so start pulling fuses and probing them to see if you have a parasitic draw anywhere. your looking for the DVOM to read 12v. if any of them are less than...

valve train will have tick or sound like a sewing machine. knock is usually bottom end. could be rod knock to to bearings, pins, piston/wall clearance, anything. its hard to tell by sound alone....
