Replace ignition wires with spark plugs?

I had my car almost 30k, so I am preparing to do a tune up in the next few weeks. No problems with the car, I just want to do a tune up so I know it's done, and I hope to better my gas mileage a bit....

Alright, to my knowledge they have never been resurfaced before. Also, the brake pads were always changed before there was any damage to the rotors. Would I be alright if I didn't resurface them?

Thanks for all the help. I will be buying a funnel and tubing this week. How big is the fill hole, just to make sure the tubing I get isn't too big.
