After taking off the fuel rail/injectors there are 5 bolts that secure the cover. Romove those and you will have access to the ports. I did this... cleaned the ports and the track inside the cover...

Looks like on 94+ Accords no drilling is necessary.

Sorry to highjack but I currently have a similar problem. My 95 LX seems to miss/hesitate at idle when the engine is up to temp. and during half throttle or more acceleration. Check engine light...

I have never delt with shear bolts. Arent they threaded? So wouldnt you have to unscrew them by drilling them out or cutting a slot for a srewdriver.

Ignition switch problem

I have a 95 Accord that wont stay started. As soon as you let off the starter it dies, but operates fine as long as the switch is in the "starting" position. Accessory position does not work either...
