Civic for UK

I dissassembled the entire climate control unit and I am not sure what is going on. The temp. control knob is striped, so I don't know if that is the problem or not. All of the cables are attached...

I believe you are reffering to the ignition control module or igniter. I put a brand new one in and it still woulnd't spark.
