yeah i've let it idle for at least 20 min. everything in the engine was getting pretty hot but the gauge was less than half way up.

i had some silverstars and it seemed like after only a few hours the brights burned out. I still have them in there and the low beams have worked fine for a year.

while ur in there u might want reroute ur hood release cable to inside the engine bay, I heard thieves will reach in behind the wheel well liner to release the hood.
