Re: OEM JDM ITR HID, light comes on then off..

The OP said the left headlight was still having problems when he plugged it into the right plug, so I don't think it's the ground. If you want to be absolutely sure, test the right headlight in the...

Re: Jdm itr headlight ?s

The lens is slightly different, as you can see above non-HID has lines across the projector area, while the HID has a circular cutout. Other than that they are the same.

Also, I don't know which...

Re: Exhaust size difference: LS, GS-R, JDM Type R

JDM ITR header is 2.5", USDM is 2" (or 2.25", I forget). But if you put the smaller USDM cat-back on the JDM header, you are defeating the purpose of having a larger diameter header. Exhaust size...

Re: I need a two way alarm, but not remote start

Looking at the Clifford website, the Matrix 1X and 330.3X are two-way systems without remote start. However the Clifford 50.7X is two-way with remote start AND 1-mile range and it doesnt cost much...

Re: Which is best?

I'd actually recommend Meguiar's masking tape or 3M green tape since both are designed for automotive masking and will not harm the finish. Blue tape works fine too, but use the one for delicate...

Re: PKALL bypass problem with Lexus IS300

Just thought I'd give an update - it was the bypass module. I installed a FLTB1 instead and it worked perfectly.

Re: Rear tint to protect interior

They make films that are completely transparent (99% light transmission) but still block UV rays like regular tint. That way you could do your front windows too if you wanted.

Congrats on the purchase!

The new 15400-PLM-A02 filters are made by Honeywell/Fram and are kinda flimsy.

Re: Is it stupid to buy a Viper alarm+remote start, and not use remote start?

Doesn't seem stupid. Like you said yourself, the remote start models give better range. They are also set up to allow you to SAFELY operate remote start on a manual as well, if you so desire.
