It sounds like you have a bad fuel pump. They are fairly cheap, try replacing it.

The best thing to do at this point is to see what code you are throwing. Do a search on here, there are a few good how to's for this.

You are probably leaking a little fluid out of the top spout...

We should have been more specific. Manual = Helms service manual. You can usually buy a CD rom off of ebay for like 10 bucks or maybe just find a download sight for free.

Sooo... You want to move the ignition switch (the part the key goes into) from the column and mount it to the dash? It is uncommon to do this unless you are eliminating the steering wheel bezel as...

yep. All B-series engines (except the wierd accord B20) will bolt up to any B-series transmission.

It sounds like the starter motor is going but the solenoid that pushes the pinion gear onto the flyweel/flexplate gear is not working. Make sure that the little blade connector is getting 12 volts...

The #2 rod is likely bent and interfering with a portion of the block (and likely causing the bad compression). Don't bother doing a leak down test as the #2 cylinder probably had all the oil washed...

Similar thing happened to me. I needed to fill it up with fluid.

The two main things that can cause shifter play is a bad or worn bitch pin and/or bad bushings.

X2. My 5th gear popped out a few times shortly after a swap. I just forgot to top off the tranny fluid. Filled her up with honda MTF and all is well.

Check fuel pressure. If thats good then unbolt the fuel rail and try to watch fuel spray out of the injectors while you try to start it.
