i solved ALL of my trunk rattle with dynomat+"tuff stuff" the shit out of every hole i could find+rag inserts into my rear bumper. for the lisence plate, i used a self adhesive weather stripping...

once you do water pump you should as a rule do your timing belt as well, and vice versa....you're there already, so no extra labor, just the cost of belt which is pretty cheap anyways

if its smells like rotten eggs its a cat problem.....if you smell oil, not gas burning, esp under WOT, its probably faulty valves....solution1: go with thicker NON SYNTHETIC oil+lucas oil...

paint of choice is up to you.... if doing yourself, make sure the part you painting is sanded down a bit(to allow for the paint to stick, instead of peeling off in a year). you can use 800 grid sand...

when temp rises pressure of expanded liquid allows the t stat to openup....i dunno where u come with this temp bs....temp by itself will never open that tstat up, unless it melts it down completely
