thanks for your input, i tightened all of the clamps and resecured all the hoses. the car seems to accelerate fine now and the pop hasn't happened since.

everything people said are valid. but one thing i've noticed is that on the 7th gens, so far, there are more aftermarket options available for the v6's rather than 4-cyl.

cops wont usually pull you over for the sole reason of having dark tint (unless you get real unlucky and get a cop that's a complete asshole). but what usually will happen is when you get pulled over...

If you can afford it, then get the EX. It'll be worth it in the long run when you trade it in or sell it in the future like coregis said.
