No cel codes, idle is hovering around 900-100 when it idles normal which is 95% of the time. I turned it up a bit as when its REAL cold, when it first starts it has trouble running when its -35+

Thats what I was thinking as well.. I know the belt on the alternator is pretty grungy looking. I was hoping to avoid replacing it until I swapped crank pulleys.

one runs to the FITV underneath the throttle body, and the other one i forget where it goes..

The white stuff is VHT flame proof paint.. its so it doesnt rust..

Sounds like the clutch is partially engaged at all times... check the cable to hydro mechanism.. maybe its to do with that.. it may not be extending fully.

got the engine mostly in... did the push in test.. looks like its too long on the passenger side.. gonna swap it out for a 86-89 axle... its about 1/2 inch too long

Well.. my friend had a similar problem.. forgot his main ground.. fried something in his harness so when he connected his battery it was shorting somewhere on the car and in turn gave a positive...
