How to replace fuel level sensor

I'm sure I'm overlooking something very basic here, but I was gonna try and replace the sensor but I couldn't get all of the nuts to come off of the plate. I was able to get 3 of them , but the...

Re: Short Ram Intake on a 97 civic Ex

I didn't have to remove the bumper on mine, just had to use a little bit of force. I forget the intake even went outside of the engine compartment it's been so long since I took the stock one out...

Re: Still confused on testing knock sensor

Well, I've been gone for a while, and things are a bit different. I'm not used to asking questions so this is new for me. Thanks again for the help.

Re: Still confused on testing knock sensor

Thanks for the help! Did you re-sign or something? I seem to remember you back from the old h-t days but it says you didn't join 'til last year?

Re: Short Ram Intake on a 97 civic Ex

I just went and looked at my car and I had two openings and they are both plugged. One of them I know you can put a hose going to the valve cover and I'm not sure what the other one is for.

Re: Still confused on testing knock sensor

From the few threads I found when searching, I found that testing the wrong thing (ie resistance as opposed to voltage, etc.) could cause problems. Is this possible with a multimeter? I had one a...

Re: Short Ram Intake on a 97 civic Ex

Are you sure that you got the right intake? Because I had an ex motor in my car prior to my swap and had it hooked up the same way I do on my b16.

Re: Short Ram Intake on a 97 civic Ex

That's a good question. On my intake there is only one opening, which I used a nipple to cover and got a breather filter for my valve cover. I guess I'm not sure what the other openings are for and...

Re: Short Ram Intake on a 97 civic Ex

There should only be one hose. This hose should connect from the intake tube to the valve cover.

Re: Still confused on testing knock sensor

Well, thanks for the diagram RonJ! A little more than I was hoping for, but as long as I can find a multimeter lying around I think I can figure it out. Also, based on drawings, I am testing for...

Can't get cam gears off. HELP!

I feel like I've tried everything, but to no avail. I've wedged stuff in between the gears, put the timing belt back on and tried it that way. Does anyone have any advice or tips?

Re: Car won't start after timing belt (RonJ@HT)
