They should last you quite some time probably over 40k miles. These are comparable to KYB GR2's which are meant for an OE replacement and aren't for excessive drops and shouldn't really be dropped...

Yeah do what most people are saying here. Try to find some one that has one or try to make a template of one and go to homedepot and get some wood cut to the template.
