to me it sounds like the gear selector switch but first check the basics; all the fuses are good and the grounds are sound.

specifically for Honda i dont know but CAN is refered to as "real time" data transfer. i think it's 512Kb a second.

just from this it looks like a power/ground distribution plug to me. possibly for the injectors, EACV,etc. on the intake manifold.

no it will not. 91 is self hydraulic controlled with a cable from the throttle. 96-00 is computer controlled. you would throw a ton of check engine / D4 codes if you swap it out if it works at all....

if this dosent work then open the main relay and take pictures. 99% of all main relay problems can be fixed w/o getting new. (at least in my experience.)

I have always heard that you should find a tune that closest fits the setup you have. Run that one then fine tune to your exact setup.

we need to narrow down what circuit is causing this. look at your brake light bulbs. are both filaments in it on when you depress the brake pedal? if not then then take out your brake the light bulbs...

OP is the 3rd brake light on the back of the car also on? when the petal is depresed, does it come on and stay off otherwise?

did you unplug anything to get the radiator out? go and check everything is pluged in good, no grounds are disconnected and check all your fuses are good.
