Re: (oneludesol)

So I'll ask again. What did you want us to say in this thread? "Good job, a known bad quality turbo is working for you" ? Even you said the quality isn't there AND you had a problem with it. I...

Re: Benifits of race gas. (nissan480)

Race gas in itself is actually LESS powerful then pump gas and the most "efficient" of the pump gasses is the lowest octane. Lower octane combusts faster and more violently. Problem is it's also...

Re: (96 GSR-T)

Two things for me:

1.) Started up my first turbo engine and forgot to tighten down the oil feed line. That little hole had enough forceful oil coming out that it was like a loose firehose.

Re: Am i running it a little too lean? (gt35rSI)

and to add on that that 10.8-11.3 is WAY too rich. You are losing power, fouling out your plugs early, and just wasting gas doing that. Aim for 11.5-12.5

Re: (stealthmode62)

Here's what I see: You have some of you leanest spots being RIGHT where it needs to be the richest spots (a good fuel curve follows almost exactly on the torque curve). Your timing, also, is not...

Re: LS turbo running but STILLL not driving (.adam.)

Start with mechanical first. Compression test, check timing, and check spark to all 4 plugs. Go electrical next. Good luck, we all know we hate demons like these. You'll figure it out though just...

Re: What car for a 2jz? (meanEG)

I just bought an IS300. Luxury and performance if you turbo the 2JZ in it. Sure it's not the lightest thing around, but it's a really fun DD.

I forgot to add that on a VTEC head the increased timing won't do too much . Heck try it out on the dyno you'll see what I mean. This is because the VTEC heads specifically carry out torque much...
