I'm sure there are shops in Seattle that can do it... if not, there are some in Vancouver that can do it too. The place I had mine done at (minnam racing/technik motorwerks) closed down...

if ur gonna rebuild, definitely go with aftermarket internals, just make sure u decide now if ur going N/A or FI in the future cuz there's no turning back...

It's all a matter of coinage and preference. If you have the coin, you might as well go with a higher displacement motor and built that thing up and then turbo that and make it all sick... but......

If the new throttle body is bigger than the old one, even if it fits, u should have ur intake manifold port matched if u want to be able to get any performance gains out of the increased diameter

You're gonna need a good two hours or more of driving, a full day would be better. No joke. I once threw my stock cat back in, drove around for a full hour before getting tested, and i failed...

Sounds like the torque converter could be shot, but you probably would have noticed symptoms first if that was the case. Im not sure how much of this info is useful, but before my torque converter...

Buying a new motor is the cheapest way out, they are a dime a dozen neways ... but if you seriously wanna build it up for turbo, ur looking at a lot of cash heh... prolly around 3 grand + ...

I believe the only JDM tranny compatible w/ d series that has an OEM LSD is the S20 tranny... and i believe its from the ZC. Otherwise, KAAZ or QUAIFE...
