Guys... im a dumbass, i removed the cap, didnt note the firing order. 10 hours of work, 2hours of sleep. I need help! I wired up the car wrong, did I bust anything? it started, sputtered and died....

Did you ever find a solution to the pivot problem. Im having a similiar problem on mine. I found that the pivot itself needs to be tightened somehow, if the pivot and pedal are not flush against...

Ok. I just really went nuts under the dash. I found out the actual 2 reasons.

1) The pivot / pedal is a little loose.
2) The cable where it grips onto the pedal had to be greased really...

Vacuum leak? Hows that possible. Theres a stick in the peddle itself.

The PIVOT on the GAS PEDDLE is sticking. I cant get it lubed up enough to stop.

I got a quick question. On a honda civic (2000), what is the normal oxygen sensor breakdown time? 35,000 miles... 50,000... etc.

Ah! bad knock sensor.... how long ago did you change it? You know that could have been a cause for the fouled/ashed spark plugs! I think you may have already fixed your problem.

Actually mine just feels more jumpy, and hesitant. It doesnt actually chugg... or the "limp home" affect. Its more just feels like its pulling back hard on stops and when I hit the gas and take it...
