they currently make a kit that displays text normally on a navi and nonnavi unit 05+ using hte xm feed

also that incorporates the stock steeringwheel controls... and HU's too
i love that ability....

i got my 06 for 22k before ttl with 16k miles in december....
!!! u should definitely look into 06... there was lots of revisions..
a big one for her would probaly be built in blue tooth ;-)
