Re: 1994 Accord, rough assisted idle, will not rev

Well, I sorta have to eat my words. It must have jumped time somehow. The timing belt wasn't loose when I pulled the covers, but I did a timing belt and all of the seals and it's running like a champ...

Re: Idle

Also note the...

Re: 1994 Accord, rough assisted idle, will not rev

Re: 1994 Accord, rough assisted idle, will not rev

I put new seals in the distributor, Honda wires, new NGK plugs. VCG is good
If I pinch the fuel return the car bogs (the little it can) and dies. If it had low fuel pressure it should have improved....

Re: 1994 Accord, rough assisted idle, will not rev

IAC is good, No Vac leaks, Fuel filter is a possibility, but not suspected since it happens suddenly and started while it was on jackstands. A new one wouldn't hurt though

1994 Accord, rough assisted idle, will not rev

I think I know what happened but I want to see if someone else can confirm this diagnosis.
I drove this car home after I bought it pretty much sight unseen.
I've done a LOT of work to it, very...

04 TLS clutch engagement issues

I replaced the master and slave a few months ago for engagement problems with Acura parts. Now sometimes when I start the car the clutch engages very low, it will also do that in spirited driving....

Re: Where is the odb port on Acura/Legend

It depends on what country the car is made for. Either behind the ash tray or under the drivers side of the dashboard.

Yep
Before track day:

Re: How does one get to drive laps at VIR?

Don't know yet. I want to wear down the tires more before I replace them, they're pretty close to new. I'm thinking Continental or Michelin for the new ones.

Re: How does one get to drive laps at VIR?

I've been really surprised by it. I knew it was a great car, but I didn't think it was this good.

Re: How does one get to drive laps at VIR?

Are you serious? Why would I risk popping a cheap rotor in the middle of a corner?
Plus $50 each isn't saving me much money.

Re: How does one get to drive laps at VIR?

She's a novice but I'm not. I grew up on tight twisty country roads that have way more trees on the side than a race track. I only plowed the side of the road once in my Merc :P . That's probably...

Re: How does one get to drive laps at VIR?

That's why I sold my CRX. I realized I was building a car that a 4 door grocery getter would still outrun.

Re: How does one get to drive laps at VIR?

I'm going to get two participant passes. If it's anything like riding trails in the Jeep, she's going to be thrilled just riding shotgun. It'll probably be difficult to get her to drive one lap.
