Had an appointment to take it in to get fixed at some dealership, got in the car, just for fun I tried closing it... it WORKEDDDDD, WOOOO. It was supposed to rain tonight too, I got soooooooo lucky....

It seems to be self contained... the 'clicking' I hear, which I've always heard when I push the button, is right above the driver's seat. I'm gonna try and tear into it tomorrow when I've got some...
