Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

That's excellent; I felt bad that I couldn't get it finished for Charles. Please feel free to post in this thread if you have any updates.

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

We were testing it on a friend's car and some stuff happened and there was a lot of drama and thousands of dollars worth of damages, so it got shelved. I eventually had a new motor built for it for...

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

I think that Charles is ready to produce the kit for around $2500; I'm the holdup at this point in getting it tested. I've just been so busy with work stuff that it's taking me forever.

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

Been getting ready for a big job in Bahrain, so time's been limited, but got some more stuff done:

Brand new RLZ CNC-ported head, chambers reshaped, new everything, I love these heads: ...

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

Damn, that makes me want to put my K-motor in the car.

I got the transmission back yesterday, and got it in the car today; hope to get it together enough to get it to the charge piping fabricator...

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

More parts came in today. Still waiting on some transmission parts to do the major stuff, but here's more stuff:

I had two custom crank pulleys made; we spun the old one on the crank when the...

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

Turns out we had the wrong LSD for the GSR trans, so had to order another one, which should be in next week.

I have a GSR intake cam, but need an ITR/CTR exhaust cam. If anyone knows where I can...

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

Just waiting on bearings for the transmission now. We were expecting them on Friday, but no joy. Hoping to see them tomorrow. As soon as we get those I can put it all together.

re: ***The Official JRSC Thread

ASP will make you anything. I'm getting quotes now for the custom pulleys for my new blower setup and I believe that they also made Veris's custom JRSC pulleys.

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

I like my race cars fast and crappy-looking. It gives me perverse satisfaction to pass nice German cars in it.

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

I started on it today. It's been years since I worked on the race car, so there are a few things to do to get it going, and I need to run around town and get the pieces of it that I loaned to friends...

Re: Can i race a 95 ex 4dr civic 205k

Plus it forces you to drive correctly. Back when I raced a fast car I could be all kinds of sloppy and still turn fast times and win events. Now that I race a crapbox I have to be smooth and conserve...

Re: jackson racing SC question

It's been a while since I installed one, but I think that it should go to the coolant port on the bottom of the throttle body. If you don't have the thing on the bottom of the throttle body with...

Re: Can i race a 95 ex 4dr civic 205k

I race mine. Change the oil, check your compression, make sure your brakes, wheel bearings, and ball joints are all in good shape, and get to a HPDE.

re: ***The Official JRSC Thread

Nobody can tell you that your stuff won't blow up, but low boost on a high-CR motor has been tuned successfully in the past. Personally, I won't be doing it again; I like some margin for error, but I...

Re: Anyone interested in a 500+ WHP Supercharger Kit?

Thanks, I think that the problem for the last few attempts has been the shaft seal. It had us chasing our tails for a bit, but I believe that this is the setup that's going to work.

Re: Who sleeved this block

It's not any of those things. The block was not made by Honda. It is an aftermarket racing block that's designed to fit in a Honda/Acura.

They have two versions, which they call sometimes "B18"...

Re: Who sleeved this block

Don't quote me on this, because I don't remember the exact numbers for the sleeves, but I think that it cost $75 for each sleeve, and $150 to get them installed. I do remember that it only took them...

Re: Gen 3 Omni LCA bushing replacement?

Mine use OEM-sized bushing sleeves. I've put Progress sphericals in them and Hardrace rubber bushings in them, as well as Honda bushings.
