harmonic balencer ?!?!?!? help please

i was driving the other day and my engine starts making this weird noise ...i get out and pop the hood and i see my ac belt broken !! luckily im rite by a mechanic .... so pull in and ask him what...

i know he had the engine rebuilt cuz he gave me the recipts and i have them somewhere (hopefully)

but thanx for all your help, im gonna take it donw to the local mechanic...

... so u think my piston rings could be fried or ... the guys who rebuilt it did not get the gaps right !!

i new to all this .... but do u know how much it would cost ....eisther way ...to get...

i got my 95 ls a month ago ...and the guy said the engine had been rebiuilt

i just changed my plugs yesterday ... and the old plugs ... were brown .... ...it looked like they were covered in oil...

u can rent a brake piston compressor at your local autozone for a few bucks ....
