Re: Cheapest source for a K20A JDM-R Motor? (dIveR$E[323])

That is a great price. Just make sure to find out what all it comes with and the company's policy on handling situations if things are not as described on the motor. I have never used that company so...

Re: K20 swap (RGarramone)

If you have all the needed parts the swap is almost as easy as doing a B-series swap. You can learn alot about the swap checking out a few sites.

http://www.k20a.org will answer alot of questions....

Re: (ludeboi121)

There are 3 different versions of the K24 motor.

K24a1 makes 160hp@6000rpm with 161lbs@3600rpm, comes from a Honda CRV and has a 9.6:1 compression ratio.

K24a2 makes 200hp@6800rpm with...

Re: (drchulo)

Just wanted to let you know that if using a K20a2, you will need either to get your hands on a JDM ECU or use a Kpro. The usdm immobilizer makes the usdm ecu unusable.

Re: wiring k20 in a 92 cx hatch (locash)

Hybrid-Racing has a Conversion harness for this swap as well. There is no core harness required.

The problem with a USDM k20a2 motor is the ECU. The USDM ECU has an immobilizer that as of yet...

Have you run it at the track? If so what kind of times did you get out of it?

Re: any k series da integras????? (urbanbrown)

As far as I know it has not yet been done. I'm sure this mount kit will be developed, but it will most likely be a quite while before you see any production runs.

Re: Closing my hand in the door would have been smarter (silver-gsr)

Check under your hood in the fuse box. There should be a 7.5amp fuse that often goes out for radio power. I'm 100% there is one in a DC2, pretty sure it's in your EG as well.

Re: (Tomdz32)

An RSX Type-S motor can be found for about $3600 to $4000 depending on mileage and condition. Using a Type-S motor you will need either a JDM RSX ecu or have your USDM ecu converted into a K-pro....
