Re: What class to run in (pennies_hatchie)

Hi Pen,

I think we talked about this a few weeks ago. You are running the JDM front bumper internals, so you are not SM legal. You cannot modify the stock front bumper internals (specifically, the...

Re: Pilot towing (APEX CRX)

I have an 03 MDX and probably would not put my Integra (2800lb) on a full trailer.

The trailer itself can weigh well over 1500 lb plus the weight of your CRX (2000? with parts).

You might get...

Re: How do i turn on/off my AWD on 2005 Acura MDX??? (PaChiLa Leader)

Yes.

The AWD system is called VTM-4 in Honda-speak. It works similarly across all VTM-4 equipped Honda and Acura vehicles.

"AWD" is a special mode of locking the rear differential (via magnetic...

Re: WHat the smallest rim that will fit on a 1995 GSR? (Project Evo Crusher)

13" Lenso's fit (I have them).
14" from a first gen Integra also fit. I use them for winter wheels.
Steelies may not fit as the wheel might not be stamped correctly. You could also find four spares...

Re: Going up in wheel size, good/bad? (TimeRacer)

I still vote smaller diameter, wider width. However, I see your point about tire sizes. I am used to R compound choices...

Here is what I would do. Look into the 16" or 17" width, but carefully...

Re: Going up in wheel size, good/bad? (TimeRacer)

Can you clear the brakes with a 14" or 15" wheel? Reduced gearing is a big plus. Also, you get the added benefit of a lighter tire/wheel combination. Look at the fastest national level cars and the...

Re: Project DA: Looking for ideas on SM build for a 92 GSR (GSpeedR)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Let’s take ABS and A/C off of the table for a moment and concentrate on the suspension.

Here is what I am thinking:

Front: Smaller sway bar ( from the RS or...

Project DA: Looking for ideas on SM build for a 92 GSR (long post)

Right now, I have complete freedom over parts to find: the car has no...

Re: (Chapel)

No, K20 cams will not fit in the TSX head without major machine work. Several folks have compared parts over at acura-tsx.com and they are not interchangable.

Re: Piston Deck Height – Too Tall? (W O T)

I will check with the machinist on just how much he took off. It is an all-motor build, so compression is good for the project. However if I get over 12.0:1, things get interesting as the car is a...

Piston Deck Height – Too Tall?

Here is the situation.

Re: 2001 ITR Piston to Cylinder Clearance (IN VTEC)

Thanks much. That's the info I need.

BTW - The motor's not actually in an ITR, just using some ITR internals in a mild GS-R all-motor project.

Thanks again.
