make sure the electrical connector is sitting properly on the IAC valve. also ensure the valve is seated properly itself and the two philips head screws holding the valve are tight.

U should use the high beams for daytime running lights and reduce the voltage so they are not at full brightness when used.
If you use the lows u will replace the headlites alot more than normal....

Is it the IAC valve. The Intake Air Control valve?
If it is you need it for your car to idle properly.
This valve controls the amount of air flow that bypasses the intake throttle plate at idle....

sometimes the mounting screws holding the Intake Air Control valve (IAC) vibrate loose and the coil doesn't work the valve properly and your engine "chokes" for air and stalls.

Sounds to me like you have a problem with the switch controlling the fan.
Did you flush the cooling system well? Did u bleed ALL of the air out of the cooling system? Does your thermostat work ok....
