Had same exact thing happen on my old 88 dx. I just wasnt as lucky. The screw launched out and smashed thru the ignitor.

Dont throw away the idea of a B-series swap just because you may have heard "major modification" to do it. A B-series will require different mounts and to get it to bolt. Your "major modification"...

Where is it stamped on the clutch? I got some numbers off it but they don,t seem to be the part number. Numbers I got off the clutch and pressure plate are, spec 1.1 E 022267
and spec 1.1 E 021881....

Like the title says, need a transmission. Mine has cracks and cunks missing from the casing.No grinding or popping out of gear. LSD would be nice, and if it has the LS 5th than thats even better....

Well I got ahold of a multimeter and found that i have not ground at the plug. I tested by just grounding to the chassis , and I got voltage. Now I just need to trace back where the break in the wire...
