I'm looking for the crank pulley/harmonic balancer for a 1996-1997 Honda Accord EX-V6. I believe the engine is the C27A4. Thanks!

I checked the new coil and it had zero resistance also across terminal A & C! I took a gamble and swapped out the coil anyways and it started!!! Runs as good as it did back in 1996!

The trick is to have the 6 point socket on the bolt and the breaker bar resting on the frame near the headlight. The engine spins counter clockwise so when you start the car it should break the bolt...

1) Changed plugs
2) Check for spark - spark is yellow and orange
3) Checked resistance on coil tabs A & C and the meter read...

My 96' EX-V6 with 183,000 has tons of problems. Its been idling badly lately so I swapped out the plugs, cap, rotor, and the wires were replaced less than a year ago. But that didn't help.

Im not new to engine work....well on a Honda yes... It can't be any harder than rebuilding the top end and swapping a cam on a LT1 Camaro.
