when i had the short ram....i shifted earlier cause it lost power at my top end...when i put the cai it pulled all the way to 8500..i dunno..

i actually did a test on the two on my car and i felt a difference....the cai made more power than the short ram. i guess it all depends on the setup.

i have an ls/vtec with 01 itr cams and stock valvetrain and they feel great...good midrange...and vtec hits hard and loud...and pulls up to 8400..

heres a dyno of a GSR with itr cams...

i noticed that when i push on the throttle plate some it goes down..but not enough...i even tried cleaning it and it doesnt help...i dunno what else to check for

what do u have as per tuning devices, do a base run at a dyno and go from there...thats basically what i did, and it runs GREAT..

im having troubles with idling myself...it idles way too high, like 16-2100 rpms...at a light...talk about killer fuel economy...anyway...u think leaving the rad. cap off for awhile will help any?

umm personally i didnt use dowel pins...i used the headstuds as a guide and fixed it when i set the head.

my guess is that ur fine...i dunno what others think.
