Final Install. Car is still a mess inside, needs a vacuum to pick up all the old terrible foam.

Note in the photos the new black closed cell foam I used to replace the old rotton stuff.

Dash Side Vent Plastic Clip Mod

Most times when you remove these vents the threads will be seized from old age and this is a cheap replacement that will eliminate the issue in the future, the clip pops out easily. Cost was $2.80...

The build continues, this time the dash is out, and I'm doing some spring cleaning.

Check that your clutch cable in the engine bay is not rubbing the wire loom, you could be shorting the wire every time you push in the clutch.

My glass roof was smashed last year and I couldn't find anyone selling a spare glass panel, just full roof cuts and they were expensive.
So it took 12 months of researching and communications...

Lip is back on, that means I'm going to drive/enjoy the car for the rest of the summer and not modify anything until next year.

Long overdue update, not much has been happening because after I installed the new rear main the car leaked even worse than it did before all this happened.

So I left it in storage for a year...

Sadly it's only a D series engine/tranny - cable at that.

Tranny is in my living room now and I've begun tearing it down.

I'm 99.9% sure it's a DX tranny as the code shows A100
