I went from a 92 lude to a 06 GTI and regreted it ever since. Once the lease is up I will be purchasing a 4th gen lude again. Loved that car.

when i had my lude i would get the cricket sound mainly at start up, and then it would go away as it warmed up.

Could never figure out what it was, but it ran great.

When I had my 4th gen I had the same problem, replaced the motor still didn't work. Ended up being the switch on the door. try replacing that first its easier and cheaper.
