I run methanol in my motor and the opportunity to drain the the catch can is great to me. I find all the water, fuel and oil separated. Then i can add fresh oil and stay on top of the oil system.

They changed transmissions a lot. They were plentiful and cheap. Good old circuit works ring and pin with stock gear sets. Some stock gear sets would go 8.50's a few times before breaking.

When a fwd requires attention to the wheel two hands is real nice to have. I would look into the co2 cylinder that throws the lever for you. You just push a button on the steering wheel. My new car...
