Re: water in my head after 4 head gaskets

I was going to ask the same thing, but saw it was a true GSR. I've once tapped a head too far in and broke/went through the water jacket (has been repaired since then - 5 years and running still) -...

Re: What manifold? Mini ram or full ram.

I prefer the full 'ramhorn' design over the mini-ram/quick4 - can mount almost any turbo with a S-cover or smaller.

This is my setup in a Civic with: Spoolin' Performance ramhorn manifold, 3"...

Re: Full race set-ups

Kind of hard to say what is better for your needs with no info of what injectors and type of fuel you're going to use.

Like I said, I could be wrong, haha. Must be one heck of an efficient setup

Keyword: were. Lol. They've gone up in the last few years, averaging about $730 + shipping.

Re: pte 6262 turbo? good for b18c forged pistons and rods?

You know what, you're right, Lol. Now that I think about it, I made 476whp with 17psi on a T3/T67 turbo and 85mm sleeved setup (91 octane).

re: CSS b18c, keep or ditch the ancient 57 trim? **Updated 10/19/17, Page 3**

LD9Stunner,
With the money already invested in the current turbo, I'd just stick with it. Good turbo for the street at about 350-375whp, and can be pushed well into the 400's with about 22-25 psi on...

Re: pte 6262 turbo? good for b18c forged pistons and rods?

That's really hard to believe. Those numbers match up to what a T3/60-1 turbo would produce, not a T3/T04E 57 trim.

Re: b16 turbo choice

No, you're right, journal bearing turbo response is a little slower when compared to a ball bearing unit. This particular turbo that I have in the Civic is only a few months old and only has about...

Re: b16 turbo choice

Not sure what you meant by asking how did the journal bearing hold up...?

I found the dyno sheet from a few months back when the car was tuned with stock B16A2 intake manifold, cams, and cast...

Re: pte 6262 turbo? good for b18c forged pistons and rods?

91 octane? Your friend must be pushing a minimum of 20 PSI and using meth/water injection, I assume.

Re: Integra Mainshaft.

You should NOT use a sliding hammer to remove bearings from your tranny, Lol.

You'll need to use a press with correct adapters, or a puller like this one:...

Re: pte 6262 turbo? good for b18c forged pistons and rods?

I believe he meant that the PTE 6262 was not the turbo for him and his goal.

Re: b16 turbo choice

It is a standard journal bearing turbocharger. The ITR cams made a huge difference. With the stock B16A2 intake manifold, cams, and cast iron Blox/EMUSA turbo manifold on 16 PSI, I put down 275 WHP...
