Re: car wont rev past two-step

It doesnt necessarily mean that the VSS sensor is bad. Alot of times I've found the pins to be corroded for the VSS plug. I usually just cut a spare pigtail of another harness and soder it in and all...

Re: Help Wireing Aeromotive pump

You should beable to do a quick google search to answer that question. But the reason is because the fuel pump you are running will draw 10-20 amp depending on the pump and pressures you are running....

Re: electricians i need some advice on my diversion 165

Being that you really dont know what your doing. I would get a few more quotes from local electricians and see what the pricing is and what they suggest to be done to get the job done correctly.

Re: Eye/Face Protection, What do you use?

Ive used a bunch of different types of eye wear. I now only use full face shields for everything. The uvex line of glasses/face shield are probably hands down the best units if ever used. Light...

Re: Which Distributor to Get?

The OBD-1 and OBD-2 distributors are the same internally for the crank/cam/TDC sensors. The only difference is the Distributor plug(OBD-1 2 Connector, OBD-2 1 Connector). All you have to worry about...

Re: anybody else get the feeling 2010 is going to kick ass for sport compact racing?

I agree the hardcore racers will jump up too the 67mm class. But even if they had a 72mm,67mm, 61/62mm turbo. The fuel is going to limit them. You may see alot of people with bigger turbos try to run...

Re: anybody else get the feeling 2010 is going to kick ass for sport compact racing?

Re: anybody else get the feeling 2010 is going to kick ass for sport compact racing?

Yea I agree with you there Joe. But I think most entry level racers aren't out too push their cars too the limit. You would have alot of people running 15-20psi of boost as most think thats safe and...

Re: anybody else get the feeling 2010 is going to kick ass for sport compact racing?

You might be better off just making a pumpgas class. You would probably have alot more engine failures. But that would truely make the class a entry level class. It wouldnt matter what...

Re: anyone in Mi. that can tune Neptune RTP?

Break the motor in "while tuning". Take the car too a tuner before the first start up. You will be alot happier. Dont just throw a basemap on the car and expect the A/F's and timing to be synced good...

Re: s300 will not restart after car has been running and warmed up.

Re: s300 will not restart after car has been running and warmed up.

I had the same problem with a car recently running the S300. For some reason and I triple checked all my correction tables. When the car would get over 160* ECT. The ecu would pull 100% fuel for the...
