Re: Mixed Messages With FelPro PermaDryPlus Oil Pan Gaskets

I installed that gasket and its worked out great so far. Its been a year or so and been trouble free. I wouldn't go back to OEM again.

re: Best Methodology on cleaning a cylinder head

I dont know if I want the experience of cleaning it myself.I was going to tackle it because I have my doubts about any shop locally cleaning it. I have no problems sending it off to a reputable shop.

Re: 4-1 Mugen ITR header Value??

Yes and yes. There are higher quality (some mass produced and some custom one off's) that are more expensive and will out perform the mugen. There are knock offs of those same higher quality...

Re: 4-1 Mugen ITR header Value??

If it was in better condition then I'd say you could sell it for $400-$800. Being that its tarnished and it's primaries are dented on the bottom then not so much. Also by today standards its not...

Re: Is it possible to fit K20 Pistons in an F20B Engine?

K20 pistons have a 30 mm compression height. H, and f20b have 31mm. Even if you do all the work needed the pistons will be in the hole 1mm. That s not very efficient. People put k20 pistons in f23a...

Re: Question: Suspension bushings set, which one?

From a longevity standpoint for a street car there is nothing better than OEM. OEM is going to be more expensive for sure over hard race or any big box part stores bushings.
I would say next level...

Re: Considering H2B - would like confirmation of build details

The H2B swap gets to be more of a pricier option if you do not already have a B series swap already. You have to factor in buying a transmission, starter, axles, mid shaft, clutch, flywheel, shift...

Re: Replacing ITR Rear LCA Bushings

I asked about this on ITRCA about a year ago. I was given the advise to just buy new arms (either oem or hardrace) and that is what I would do if I were you. I do not know how strong the LCA's are ...

Re: Brake Expert Scam?

I have never dealt with him but doing a google search (or even looking in the sales feedback/vouch forum on this website) you would see that he does not have a very good track record.

Re: Standard valve stems for regamaster evo wheels

I think all of those at Evasive are what I would consider those the same as what I have now for valve stems. I am mostly interested in a standard rubber "pull through" type valve stems that you can...

Re: Was there a 1997 JDM Integra Type R?

OP,

On the front side of the cylinder head above the middle exhaust ports there should be a stamp. It will either say P72-X or PR3-X (X = a number)

P72 = GSR
PR3 = B16A, B16B, B18C type r

Re: Was there a 1997 JDM Integra Type R?

Thats not true. Japanese engine codes don't end with numbers like they do here. The B18C could be a Type R motor or GSR motor.

OP, whats the stamping on the Cylinder head?

Any reviews yet of the ECSTA PS31

I am looking at this tire as a "summer tire" for my car. I'm also considering the BFG G-force Sport Comp. Sizes would be 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.
