Re: accident, now i have vibrations (RKV)

A good place to start is your exhaust. It sounds like you tweaked it in the impact.
Look under your car and look for any signs of impact. Have a friend put it in gear and see if the pipes/mufflers...

Re: need to know how to get oil out of spark plug tubes...... (crxaddikt)

You'll need a spark tester. Try NAPA or PepBoys. It should only cost $10-$15.

One end of the spark tester looks like a spark plug. The other end will be an alligator clip or something similar that...

Re: need to know how to get oil out of spark plug tubes...... (crxaddikt)

Did you replace o-rings or did you replace the the round rubber seals that fit in the valve cover? If yoiu didn't replace the spark plug tube o-rings, your problem isn't fixed. You need to unbolt...

Re: 96 Accord LX CEL code 90 (Shft@9GSR)

You have a P1456 (evap leak). A loose cap can set this code. It doesn't matter if it's not loose now. The light will not turn off by itself (well...eventually it will but it takes awhile). Do you...

Re: 93 Accord Lx Cooling Fan Questions (93AccordLx)

The driver's side is the condensor fan. Try turning the A/C on. It should kick on ( it will kick on if the engine reaches a certain temp, too--->overheats).

Re: Loss of Drive while turning (fluxion)

Check the fluid level and condition. Is it low? Is it burnt? It sounds like you are a couple of liters low on fluid.

Re: '98 L4 Brake shudder problems (GVSusAssy)

I wouldn't call it a weak link. The Accord pads are normally replaced between 40k and 60k miles (and up). If they were replaced at 20k, they were either replaced way to early or the previous owner...

Re: That darn crank pulley bolt strikes again! (vultron)

Throw the motor in the back of a truck and drive it to your local Honda dealer.
Beg and plead (tears might help) until they zap it off for you.

Re: Please, Need Serious Help with setting Timming on SOHC 93 Civic... (Blaze45)

My memory is a little fuzzy but I think there are 3 hash marks on that cam gear.
You need to line up the two has marks that are 180 degrees apart (on the cam gear) with the top of the head.

Re: Dist. Rotor replacement.... (Beave0101)

Re: Car jerks in first gear and sometimes in what ever gear while driving (ekhybrd)

Is it a misfire? Does it misfire under a load? Do you know what it feels like when an engine is misfiring because a faulty ignition component? Check your spark plugs, plug wires and rotor/cap.

Re: New clutch time... questions (jokerstud)

I can knock out most front wheel drive clutches in about 2 hours. It's usually double for the Accord. If you've never pulled a tranny, you're looking at a day or two of hard labor. All of the bolts...

Re: New clutch time... questions (jokerstud)

Do you have a car lift? If you don't, I wouldn't try the installation yourself. I've installed a lot of clutches but I wouldn't do one at home (especially a '94 Accord).
If you want to save a little...

Re: Studdering At Low RPM (Voom)

Unplug your EGR valve. If the miss goes away, your EGR ports are clogged. You'll need to remove 4 plugs from your intake and clean the plugged ports.
